Grilled Cabbage Steaks

Cabbage does not have to be boring! These Grilled Cabbage Steaks are such a fun way to use cabbage – they add flavor and crunch to summer dishes and dinners.

Grilled Cabbage Steaks Recipe

Prep Time: 5 minutes | Cook Time: 25 minutes | Total Time: 30 minutes | Servings: 6-8

 

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 heads green cabbage

  • ½ cup extra virgin olive oil

  • 4 garlic cloves

  • 2 tsp Himalayan pink salt

  • 2 tbsp chives

 INSTRUCTIONS

 1.     Begin by preparing your grill. Heat your grill to a medium high heat and lightly brush with oil.

 2.     Meanwhile, prepare your cabbage. Cut off the bottom end of the cabbage and slice the cabbage into 1 inch think slices. Place on a baking sheet.

 3.     In a blender, combine the olive oil, garlic and salt. Blend until smooth. Brush the dressing over the cabbage.

 4.     Place each cabbage steak directly onto the grill. Cook for 5 minutes per side and until tender on the inside, crispy on the outside.

 5.     Remove from the grill and drizzle with remaining dressing and fresh chives. Enjoy!
