Reishi Cacao Superfood Latte
By: Barb Biagioli
When the leaves start to fall, Pumpkin Spice Lattes get all the attention. But if you’re in the mood for something with a little less hype, this reishi cacao latte is delicious and healthy.
The reishi mushroom is known for its immune-boosting benefits – as an adaptogen, it’s great for reducing stress and balancing hormones. Cacao is also known for its immune properties, magnesium content, and ability to reduce stress and balance blood sugars. Combine the two, along with other beneficial herbs and spices, and you have a really indulgent, easy to make, warm, and comforting superfood latte that is a perfect first thing in the morning (move over, coffee) and great as an afternoon treat or after-dinner delight.
