Vegan Avocado Crema

Dairy-free and easy, this avocado crema comes together in no time! Soak your cashews for optimal digestion and absorption. The cashews replace the sour cream and are perfect for making this dip creamy. Make sure your avocados are soft and ripe!

Vegan Avocado Crema Recipe

Prep Time: 5 minutes | Total Time:  10 minutes | Servings: 6 - 8

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup raw cashews

  • 2 avocados

  • 5 tbsp lime juice

  • 2 garlic clove

  • ½ tsp sea salt

  • ½ - 1 cup water

INSTRUCTIONS

1.     Soak your cashew for 6 hours or 1 hour in hot water. Set aside.

2.     Drain the cashews and add them to a blender, along with the avocados, lime juice, garlic cloves, salt, and water. Start with ½ cup of water and add more as needed. Blender until creamy.

3.     Taste the crema and add salt or lime if needed. Enjoy with tacos, enchiladas, and all your favorite Mexican dishes!
